These ceramics from Jethro Lynch are reminiscent of the stormy waters of Mounts Bay. They're made just along the coast, in Penzance and glazed in all shades of blues, from french navy to white.
Hand thrown, each one is an original seascape with sand-coloured natural clay exposed. Underneath each pourer, you'll see tide lines in the naked clay bases - just like the seascapes from Porthleven to Newlyn.

Maker's Bio
Jethro Lynch makes pots that are hand thrown in his studio near Penzance. From his range of functional stoneware ceramics to the delicate handmade silver jewellery made by Jethro's wife in their shared studio, all work at Ankor expresses a deep connection between maker, place and object. It is somewhat inevitable that the spirit of the sea and coastal landscape is captured throughout their work.
